Who we are
IS-AI Systems is a software, app, and AI development practice based in Texas, working with clients anywhere. We take on custom applications, SaaS products, utilities, internal tools, and AI features — the kind of work that is too specific for off-the-shelf software and too small for a large agency to care about. The six areas we work in are set out in detail.
The name is the question we ask on the first call. Is AI working for you, or are you working for it? Plenty of teams have adopted tools that add steps instead of removing them. We start by finding out which one you have, and the FAQ explains what that first conversation looks like.
How we work
Fixed scope before code
You get a written scope and a number before the build starts. If the scope changes, the number changes, and you hear about it that week rather than at delivery.
Something to look at, early
Progress is a thing you can open and click, not a status update. Short cycles, working software at the end of each one.
You own everything
The code, the repositories, the cloud accounts, and the app store listings are yours from day one. Maintenance is available; dependency is not the business model.
Plain language
Estimates, risks, and limitations get explained in terms you can act on. If something is a bad idea, you will be told before the invoice, not after.
Where we are
The practice works from Texas with clients anywhere. Our first Android application, BESTMARKED, is published on Google Play — a local-first timer and personal record tracker for athletes, built with no account, no location access, no advertising, and no analytics. It is a working example of how we build: the smallest thing that does the job properly, with the data left on the user's device unless there is a reason for it to move. Inquiries are open and answered within two business days.
